Simeonova Mound

Located 10 minutes’ drive from Sunny Beach Resort, between the townships of Aheloy and Kableshkovo, the historic hill, called Simeonova Mound is associated with one of the most epic battles in Medieval Europe, which ended with the victory of King Simeon The Great, over the Byzantine troops in 917 AD. At this place, opening a splendid vista on the seashore, the Bulgarian Medieval history meets with the modern history of the Bulgarian wine production.

The Winner’s Eye monument

Visit the Winner’s Eye monument, erected in proximity to the winery to honour the victory of the Glorious Bulgarian ruler - King Simeon The Great (865 - 927).

Gold medal from Decanter World Wine Awards 2014 (over 95 points)

Come and visit DiVes winery, a holder of the first gold medal for Bulgaria from the world’s largest and most influential wine competition –Decanter World Wine Awards 2014, London.

Over the past years, Bulgarian wineries have won silver and bronze medals, but it is only in 2014 that DiVes winery with its Merlot Barrique Special Selection 2012 won the first gold medal for the Bulgarian wine producers from this tough competition.

This wine has exquisite aromas of black currants and blueberry, round body with mild tannins, pleasantly warm aftertaste with hints of chocolate, tobacco and coffee. Aged in oak casks, optimally toasted for optimal period of time, it is a beautiful masterpiece.
